Monday, June 30th, 2008Yesterdays Euro 2008 final was a pretty big disappointment. Judging by the previous games won by Germany and Spain, I had expected a clash of the titans. Instead, Germany would have been totally slaughtered if it hadn’t been for a few great saves courtesy of Jens Lehmann. The spaniards were obviously the superior team, with the Germans fighting hard to even get close to the spanish goal. It was somewhat reminiscent of the England vs Portugal game in the 2006 world cup. Pathetic, to say the least.
